Ritu, That one was an excellent link. Kavi and I particularly liked the photo with the fireman holding the kid. It moved us a lot. Also did you know that there was a Kannada poem by Veerappa Moily called 'Hasivu' which was written with the photo of the hungry kid with a vulture in the background. It talks about the hunger of the photographer for a good photo, the hunger of the kid for some good food and the hunger of the vulture for the kid. The poem won an award.
One of the things that i regret is, not having studied Kannada. I feel i have lost a lot, by not studying it. I can read, but very slowly. I havent read the Poem, i will certainly look for it.
Ritu, In one of my earlier comments here I had mentioned a movie called 'Runa' by Puttanna Kanagal. The movie's name was not Runa but 'Hangu'. Again it is part of his 'Katha Sangama'.
